The first of our
new workshops starts with this beauty, which is the basis to all knowledge when
designing and arranging your wedding. Three hours of planning tips, arranging
or beginning themes, budgeting tips, check-lists freebies and countdown as well
as wedding etiquette.
This workshop is
run by a qualified wedding planner and aims to help its pupils the art of
getting the wedding you want at the price you want. There will be opportunities
to ask the planner for ideas for each wedding and also a discussion time to
discuss themes in detail and share styling and budget bargains. Our planner will disclose the best places to
buy wedding items at the best prices; also each bride will receive a planning
booklet and will continue to receive support and advice throughout their
wedding planning progress.
There will also be
a planning task set by the wedding planner in which the group will be advised
about at the time. This workshop will be partially filmed for viral and
advertising purposes. Teas and coffees
will be included. Please bring a pen and pad to the class.

October 21st
9:30am – 12:30pm BLOOMING BEAUTIFUL BOUQUETS
This three hour
workshop is a must for those wanting to make there own bouquets for their
wedding. Run by a local event florist this workshop focuses on the basic hand
posy for a bridesmaid. In this class pupils will learn how to prepare their
flowers and greenery for display, how to prepare their posy holders and floral
foam and how to plan the logistics for the display.
Pupils are asked to
bring their own flowers and greenery to use, as per their chosen theme colours.
These can be fresh, silk or foam. We ask this as each person has different
tastes and we cannot cater for every possible theme therefore we ask you bring
the type of flowers you would like to have.
We advise you to buy basic flowers from supermarkets or from gardens as
you will make mistakes!
Advice will be given about where to buy the best
possible sundries for your actual day and continuing support will be available up
to your wedding day. You will also have the opportunity to save up to 30% off
booking with the tutor or hiring your vases for your DIY project.
Also great starter
session for those looking to pursue career or hobby in artistic floristry.

12:30pm MAKE A STATEMENT
The second of our
floral workshops focuses on centrepieces.
As our bouquet workshop we ask that pupils bring their own flowers to
make a stunning tall lily vase centrepiece. If you want tips on making a
different centrepiece don’t worry, the tutor will be available to give advice
on other centrepieces such as bubble bowls and vintage styles. The idea is to
learn how to prepare flowers and to arrange them according to taste, this can
be then transferred across many different designs.
Our tutor will offer
hints and tips on how to budget accordingly and which flowers to use for the
season, theme or centrepiece. You will also have the opportunity to save up to
30% off booking with the tutor or hiring your vases for your DIY project. She
will also be on hand for free advice and support up to your wedding day.
Also great starter
session for those looking to pursue career or hobby in artistic floristry.

A three hour
workshop held by qualified milliner. Learn the basics on how to make your own fascinator.
This workshop is for the true fashion diva in want of a unique and creative
piece for a wedding or special occasion.
In this workshop
you will be taught the art of making your own fascinator from our top local
milliner. She will guide you through the basics or preparing your materials and
deciding on a layout for the piece.
She will advise you
on colour co-ordination and fabric use as well as offering guidance and help up
to your wedding day, and up to 10% off a bespoke piece. There will be an
opportunity to discuss the best places to buy materials at prices to suit any
budget.

November 4th
1:30pm – 12:30pm TIME TO SPARKLE
This beautiful
workshop is one of the most intricate of workshops. Learn how to make this
perfect tiara for your wedding day. Working on techniques and mastering the art
of crafting your own jewellery.
This workshop is
limited to 10 pupils. Each pupil must be prepared to pay £12 material costs on
the day which enables you to take the finished pieces home. We do not like to
charge much for our workshops but this is our more prestigious one using good
quality bands, pearls and diamantes for the project. Still much cheaper than
the average tiara, and personally suited to the bride or bridesmaid.

9:30am – 12:30pm FAIRY SWEET CUPCAKES
Sure to be our most
popular workshop is this cupcake decorating one! As the American craze kicks
off in this country with added british perzazz you cannot fail to lose on this
perfect little creation.
Working with six premade
homemade cupcakes ready to be iced, learn how to use different icing nozzles
for different styles, using buttercream and how to make it. Also learn some sugar
crafting and sugar dusting techniques.

Do you want help
and advice in creating beautiful effortless curls and waves in your hair?
Receive tips on
preparing your hair, show you how different styling tools will create different
looks. Give you simple step by step ways of pinning your hair up and give you
the confidence to have a go at a new look. Even if you have curly hair
naturally or short hair you can achieve a different look.
Also have you got
curling tongs at home that looked so easy to use but you just can’t seem to get
it right on yourself? Well bring them along and I’ll help to show you the
simple way of using them. Isn’t that better than them sitting in a draw
collecting dust?
On the day you will
have the option of purchasing products and accessories to make curling your
hair easier.
After this master
class you will never need to say ‘I can’t do anything with my own hair’ ever

will look at how to palette your make-up for the day.
